CUA graduate students in sociology receive funding from a number of sources.
- The department offers a limited number of teaching assistantships. Additional funding opportunities are available through faculty research grants. Applicants wanting to apply for a teaching or research assistantship should correspond directly with the chair of the Department of Sociology, Dr. Enrique S. Pumar.
- Research assistantships also are available through the Institute for Policy Research and Catholic Studies.
- A recommended list of graduate grants and fellowships is available through the Office of Graduate Studies.
Provided that all materials are received by Feb. 1, all applicants will be considered for the available scholarships and assistantships for which they qualify. No separate application form needs to be filed.
